Airport Board Reviews the needs of all current and future management, operation, and development of the City Airport. Makes appropriate recommendations to the City Council.

5 yrs.


Abatement Board The initial hearing board for all code compliance cases concerning the abatement of trash, weeds, grass, or abandoned property.

5 yrs.


Board of Adjustments Hears and decides on applications for variances, exceptions, and appeals from decisions of the building inspector pertaining to city zoning ordinances.

3 yrs.


Cemetery Board Reviews the needs of all current and future management, operation, and development of the City Cemetery. Makes appropriate recommendations to the City Council.

5 yrs.


Golf Course Board Reviews needs of all current and future management, operation, and development of the Tahlequah Municipal Golf Course. Makes appropriate recommendations to the City Council.

4 yrs.


Historic Preservation Board Provides advice and guidance to property owners and the City Council concerning historic preservation issues, recommends designation of properties and historically sensitive areas as worthy of preservation, and participates in and supports the nomination of worthy properties to the State and National Registers of Historic Places.

5 yrs.


Library Board Provides oversight and advice to the City Council on matters pertaining to management of the physical facilities of the Tahlequah City Library; provides input on library services and programs to the Eastern Oklahoma District Library.

3 yrs.


Park Board Reviews the needs of all current and future management, operation, and development of all City Parks facilities. Makes appropriate recommendations to the City Council.

Planning & Zoning Commission Makes recommendations to the City Council on matters regarding the enactment of planning and zoning laws and regulations of the City; provides oversight on issues of annexation, property rezoning, and subdivisions, in accordance with the City's comprehensive plan to ensure orderly growth and development in Tahlequah.

Recreation Board Assists the City with the coordination of activities and services related to the public use of City recreation facilities, including the Phoenix Park baseball complex and City soccer fields. Makes appropriate recommendations to the City Council.

Tahlequah City Hospital Authority Responsible for decisions related to the the management, operation, and development of the Tahlequah City Hospital.

5 yrs.


Tahlequah Industrial Trust Authority Responsible for decisions related to the the management, operation, and development of the Tahlequah Industrial Park.
