Recycle Drop-off
Hours 6:00am to 3:00pm,
Monday - Friday
Recycle Drop:
Cardboard, Newspaper, Magazines, Glass, Tin & Aluminum Cans, Any
Metal, Whitegoods (Washers, Dryers, Stoves, etc.)

Acceptable Recyclable Items and Their Appropriate
Bins |
Large Green Bin:
Cardboard ONLY |
Cardboard that CANNOT go into this bin:
any boxes with a waxy film, such as:
cereal boxes
pop cartons
laundry soap boxes
etc. |
Also, remove all items from the cardboard boxes, such as:
foam peanuts
packing material (s)
styrofoam
paper
plastic
anything that could be construed as trash |
Light Green Bin:
Shredded paper in plastic trash bags ONLY |
Glass:
Glass should be separated by color
Lids should be removed
from all glass items |
Newspaper:
Newspaper and the coupons that come with it
Newspaper can be
brought in brown paper bags
Brown paper bags |
Magazines:
Magazines ONLY |
Paper products:
Mail, computer paper, white
or light colored paper is acceptabels if placed in sacks. |
Tin cans:
Tin cans ONLY |
Aluminum cans:
Aluminum cans ONLY |
Please remember, anything such as toilet paper, paper towels, bandages, Kleenex,
etc. are considered contaminated and are not acceptable. Also note
that any items
containing trash, cigarettes, clothes, candy wrappers, gum wrappers,
food, etc. are
not acceptable at the Recycle Drop-off. All of these items should
be considered as
trash and should be taken to the Sanitation Department for disposal. |
All items should be separated before being deposited at the
Recycle Drop-Off
site. If you have any questions pertaining to recyclables, feel
