The mission of the Detective Division is to conduct thorough investigations of criminal activities, ensuring the apprehension of offenders, providing support to crime victims, and safeguarding the community. Our dedicated team of detectives is entrusted with the responsibility of investigating a wide range of serious offenses, including homicides, felonious assaults, child abuse cases, gang-related crimes, kidnappings, missing persons cases, hate crimes, as well as threats and weapons violations. Additionally, the division diligently monitors habitual offenders, ensuring their activities are closely tracked.
